Custom Audio Installation for a Range Rover in Redwood City - Monney - Redwood City - 650-299-9991

This project we are installing a new JVC Navigation System in this Range Rover.

JVC KW-NT810HDT Navigation receiver

A 2013 CEA Innovations Award winner and JVC's best navigation receiver

Even the luckiest of road warriors finds themselves lost or stuck in traffic from time to time. JVC's KW-NT810HDT navigation receiver helps you avoid potential road hazards with intuitive guidance and rapid traffic updates that'll keep you ahead of congestion. And with a big, motorized 7" display leading the way, you'll be able to enjoy more than just helpful directions — you can pull up great-sounding HD Radio™ broadcasts, make and receive hands-free calls through your Bluetooth phone, and control select smartphone apps and functions on the go.

Rapid traffic reports and beyond

The dedicated traffic tuner lets you dial into the free Total Traffic Plus HD network — you'll enjoy access to real-time traffic info that'll help you steer clear of congestion. Other traffic info services only work in major metropolitan areas, but Total Traffic Plus HD works anywhere a station is broadcasting HD Radio traffic information — over 90 metro areas and counting. You'll also get sports, weather, entertainment, and news information onscreen if you want. And the new HD Radio Active Alerts feature shows you federal government alerts in text form on the navigation screen to warn you of severe weather or other emergencies in your area.

With the help of an iPhone® app, you can keep up with traffic even when you're outside HD Radio range. The app will automatically switch to the Total Traffic Network over cellular signals when it determines you're no longer receiving HD Radio signals.

Take charge of your smartphone

The KW-NT810HDT gives you varying degrees of functionality with different types of smartphones and connections. Here are some key examples:
  • iPhone with USB connection: iHeartRadio app control; Pandora® Internet radio app control; iPod control (audio only)
  • iPhone with JVC's iPod Audio/Video cable connection: all the above plus iPod video control (when parked) and audio from iPhone apps when receiver is in External Mode (these features not available for the iPhone 5)
  • Android™ with USB connection: music playback from your phone's SD card or internal memory
  • Android with Bluetooth connection: iHeartRadio app control; Pandora Internet radio app control; streaming music playback from your phone's internal memory or streaming music apps
  • BlackBerry® with USB connection: music playback from your phone's SD card or internal memory
  • BlackBerry with Bluetooth connection: Pandora Internet radio app control; streaming music playback from your phone's internal memory or streaming music apps

NaviBridge gives you easy GPS transfer from your devices

The free NaviBridge app lets you search for points of interest on your smartphone or tablet, then transfer the GPS coordinates right to the JVC KW-NT810HDT for turn-by-turn directions. If you're using an iPhone, you'll need to be connected via USB to use NaviBridge. Android users can take advantage of NaviBridge through Bluetooth.

Easy-to-follow navigation

The 7" touch display features two-way motorized tilt, so you can position it just the way you want it. You'll have access to detailed maps of the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, plus 8 million searchable points of interest. You'll hear actual road names at upcoming maneuvers with text-to-speech voice prompts. Junction View shows you a realistic depiction of an upcoming exit, complete with lane guides. The Picture-In-Picture view lets you see an overview of the action, plus a close-up detail. And 3D Landmarks shows you skyscrapers, statues, and other familiar structures in color to help you find your way through unfamiliar urban areas.

Room to expand

If you want to send video to a backseat or overhead monitor, you can use the RCA rear video output to keep your passengers entertained. And a dedicated rear-view camera input makes it easy to add nearly any universal camera to your vehicle for safety when backing up.

Want to keep your steering wheel controls?

In most vehicles, you can use an adapter (not included) to connect your vehicle's steering wheel controls to this JVC stereo. Connect a few wires, then program the adapter for your particular car and the KW-NT810HDT, and you'll retain the convenience of your steering wheel controls. Check the "Accessories" tab for compatible adapters.
Bluetooth note: Use of this receiver's Bluetooth features will depend upon your phone's Bluetooth capabilities. Learn more in our article explaining Bluetooth profiles.
iPod note: If you're going to use your iPod with this receiver, be sure to check "Details" for specific iPod model compatibility.
