This project a Radar detection system was installed along with a Radar Jammer system in this Ferrari 458. Two Detectors in the Front and two in the back giving it a 5 mile protection range.

The NEW K40 Laser Defuser g5 emits a powerful infrared light signal back to the police laser gun at a pulse rate that it cannot understand. This enables the driver to avoid detection and, ultimately, a speeding ticket. The new Laser Defuser g5 interface module allows up to three additional laser transponders to be mounted on either the front or rear of your vehicle for maximum coverage and performance. It’s all the protection you’ll ever need against police laser threats

• NEW - 5 Custom IR Laser Reception Diodes per laser transponder for enhanced laser gun detection.
• NEW - 10 More Powerful Laser Defusing Diodes in EACH Defuser g5 transponder.
• NEW - Fly-Eye Lens. A lens composed of an array of smaller lenses designed to provide increased off-axis signal capture.
• NEW - Sync Interface. The sync feature fires up to four Defuser g5 transponders simultaneously, emitting more jamming output to the laser gun than ever before.

• Constant Transmit: The Defuser g5 will continually transmit a jamming signal for the duration of the laser encounter.
• Pulse Transmit: The Defuser g5 will transmit a jamming signal for 10 seconds, giving the driver time to reduce speed. The system will then shut off for 30 seconds, allowing the officer to obtain a slower speed reading and eliminate the suspicion of "jamming."
• Receive Only: For notification only. No jamming signal will be emitted.
• Laser Alert - Provides warning of police laser targeting with a unique audible and visual alert, giving the driver the time needed to react and safely reduce speed.
• Remote-Compatible - The Laser Defuser g5 is uniquely designed to integrate with any K40 remote radar system, allowing the user to utilize one warning display for both radar and laser alerts.

What do you need a sophisticated K40 Radar Detector and Jammer which not only makes this car invisible to radar but gives the driver a 5 mile warning range with the detector.

This car is extremely difficult to work on due to the carbon-fiber.

The 650S derives its name from the 650-PS European horsepower rating (equivalent to 641 SAE net horsepower) of its twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-8, up from 616 horsepower in the 12C. Torque has welled to 500 lb-ft from 443 in the 12C. The added power comes courtesy of new pistons and heads, revised cam timing, new exhaust valves, and a new exhaust system. Other changes include firming up all three PCC settings, making carbon-ceramic brakes standard, stiffening the springs 22 percent in front and 37 in back, and mounting forged 19-inch-front and 20-inch-rear wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa rubber.
